Simple Crochet Baby Poncho

A fun crochet pattern which is easy to make as it is in all in one piece.

The pattern makes up well in a 10ply cake such as Katia Paint (shown in picture).  The lovely thing about using a cake with nice long colour changes is that the poncho looks different front and back.  It would look just as good in a plain 10ply or 12 ply.

I have just completed the same pattern in Katia Polar (a fun fluffy yarn) and, with a bit of adapting, it worked out wonderfully. (photo of cream fluffy poncho)
